Project 10: Internet Kitchen Design Project.After receiving an email from this client, we called him to discuss in depth his project. We are always designing around the customer wants, needs, taste and of course budget. Our first conversation is very important to understand the criteria of the design needed. In this case, Owner wanted for his new home a French country kitchen with maple cabinets, dark countertops, yellow walls and an "Old World" wood vent.
A few days later we received a certified floor plan, an elevation drawing of the home and a list of appliances. We started our design and emailed our client the next day our design and elevation drawings for approval.
Upon receipt of approval, we sent list and specifications for the cabinets and accessories, color and style recommended for the cabinets and our recommendations for the color of the granite tops, color and style for the backsplash, color for the walls, selection for the knobs and pulls and a design for the Old World wood hood. A budget price was also included with our documents.
